GIRLTALK 2011-2012 NEWS
In an effort to reach 10,000 girls and the women or men that support them, we would like to get some communty help both nationally and/or Internationally to help us reach our goal. We are launching:
- GirlTalk Health Chat- "Girls Getting Healthy One Chat at a Time"
Goal: Put on the largest Health Conference for Girls by Girls in 2012
- GirlTalk Success Campaign-"When Talking & Doing Creates Success"
Goal: Invite known and unknown successful women, who can help create GirlTalk Success Bookletsl and other media material.
- Project Change-"Becoming The Best Me"
Goal: Involve 5000 girls all of the United States in actively doing something for self, community and the world at large.
If you would like to be apart, offer your time, or resources to help us complete some of our targeted projects this year and next year. Please contact Dr. Lakita Long at 925-478-148 1or Gina Dacus at 925-565-0494. We are looking for the following: Graphic Designers,Healthcare Organizations, Nurses, Public Policy Makers, Doctors (All Types), Researchers, Printers, Organizations that have facilities to host events, meetings and/or conferences for up to 250 people, and Grants to complete the work that has been started.
